Have you ever experience a screw that has been stripped out and you can’t get it out.  Ugh!  I have two in the doors to my Mother’s linen closet that I can’t get to budge.  I took out my screw extractor, which by the way is designed for just this type of thing and I couldn’t get it to work….rats!

I get home today and in the mail, I was sent another screw extractor from Handyman Club of America to test.  This one looks different than the one I bought so I hope it will do the trick.

Well, I have a ton of work still to do and it is going to take me a long time to finish the repairs that I have started at Mother’s.  I just got told Tuesday of this week that they were cutting my hours back.  Today, I get the call that I need to start back full time Monday.  Well, that is good news and bad news.  Good news that their business is getting ready to take off, bad news I didn’t get much time to work on Mom’s bathroom.

Oh well, I’m going to rest tomorrow and then we work at a local event on Saturday.  A town close to where I live has an event call Murphy Maze Days and our church is hosting the children’s zone.  Maybe I’ll work on Mom’s bath Saturday afternoon or Sunday afternoon and then it is back to work.

I’m taking pictures of the restoration at Mom’s house so I’ll have a few before and after pictures to show you when I’m done.  I won’t bore you with all of them but the transformation will be obvious.
